The celebration will include senior members of the Royal Family and will focus on a socially distanced recording of performances and other contributions

A very special recording of the Lord’s Prayer with representatives from different Commonwealth nations will be created

“I am very excited about it,” Fr. Letang said during an interview with Dominica News Online (DNO) on Friday. “It is good for the country, it’s good for my Parish as a whole and of course it’s good for the Redemptorists Order which I am a part of.”

He continued, “I had to do the ‘Our Father’ and it had to be done somewhere natural; they wanted to see the beauty of the country, the scenery.”

Fr. Letang’s recording of the prayer was shot at Cabrits by Secretly Dominican, a Dominica-based company that provides freelance photography and videography services

The Commonwealth Day programme which will feature the Lord’s Prayer will air on Sunday 7th March at 5pm GMT on BBC One, and will also be shown on the BBC YouTube channel at the same time, at the link below: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCj956IF62FbT7Gouszaj9w/featured
